For each specialty you choose, you will do a full briefing with your SSI instructor and then you will do a training dive in open water. In this specialty diver-focused trial program, you'll have complete freedom to explore. This program will allow you to complete specialty programs at any time and accredit your training as an Advanced Adventurer during registration.

The Dive Guide program is the first step in an exciting experience that you cannot miss. Learn to safely guide certified divers in different environments and conditions. By preparing dive briefings, doing site assessments and guiding dives, you will become a confident and competent Dive Guide in no time. Begin your professional diving career working as a Dive Guide or continue your training to obtain the Divemaster qualification.

The SSI Divemaster qualification recognizes candidates who have the necessary knowledge and training to perform the responsibilities of a certified assistant. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting SSI instructors with the conduct of entry level diver training programs and continuing education.
