Mermaiding is a wonderful and fun discipline, very complete at the sport level since it brings together all the benefits of swimming, synchronized swimming skills, apnea, relaxation and lots and lots of fun for both children and adults.
Swimming with monofin and tail strengthens and reshapes your body as it requires leg, buttocks and abs work, not forgetting your back and arms!
perfect for getting and keeping fit.
Mermaiding or swimming with the fish tail was born as an activity after the cinematographic success in the United States, with the first amateur school Weeki Wachee Springs, but there was still no regularized system or official school to be able to give courses and recognitions.
It was then when the first International Mermaid School (IMSIA) became official in the Philippines, which also established its base in Germany, thus bringing to Europe the first swimming training academy for mermaids and mermen.
Next, SSI also launches into this new project, creating one of the best agencies where you can find all the courses to learn this discipline and qualify as a mermaid / merman and have an official certification.
